Spooky2

The Spooky2 generator claims to use the principals from Royal Rife to diagnose and heal ailments.

A Rife Machine uses the principles of Royal Rife, a brilliant scientist who lived during the last century. He discovered that micro-organisms can be destroyed using frequencies.

The Spooky2 Remote has a particularly interesting claim:

Any physicist will happily tell you that this is 100% nonsense. Quantum entanglement is a very particular process. Different parts of the human body are not quantum entangled. The name of the product, “Spooky”, is referring to “spooky action at a distance”, the phenomenon of quantum entanglement. The entire product is based on the lie that the parts of the human body are quantum entangled.

The Spooky2-XM generator comes with a Spooky2 Boost.

I tested the pinouts to see which of the 4 leads on the back connect to which of the 12 leads on the front.

On the front I will number the BNC connectors 1 through 6 left to right. The back I will name left and right.

Back:

Left pin: 2 barrel, 3 barrel, 4 pin, 5 barrel, 6 pin

Left barrel: 1 barrel, 4 barrel

Right pin: 1 pin, 2 pin, 5 pin, 6 barrel

Right barrel: 1 barrel, 4 barrel

On the base unit all the barrels share the same electrical connection. The pins are not connected.

Review of the scientific studies provided by Spooky2

  • The efficacy of “distant healing”: a systematic review of randomized trials
    • https://doi.org/10.7326/0003-4819-132-11-200006060-00009
    • Data synthesis: A total of 23 trials involving 2774 patients met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. Heterogeneity of the studies precluded a formal meta-analysis. Of the trials, 5 examined prayer as the distant healing intervention, 11 assessed noncontact Therapeutic Touch, and 7 examined other forms of distant healing. Of the 23 studies, 13 (57%) yielded statistically significant treatment effects, 9 showed no effect over control interventions, and 1 showed a negative effect.
    • Conclusions: The methodologic limitations of several studies make it difficult to draw definitive conclusions about the efficacy of distant healing. However, given that approximately 57% of trials showed a positive treatment effect, the evidence thus far merits further study.
    • My analysis: None of the studies reviewed the Spooky2 device or RIFE therapies at all. Spooky2 is not selling prayer healing services. This study does not apply to Spooky2.
  • A systematic review of the quality of research on hands-on and distance healing: clinical and laboratory studies

    • Conclusions: When laboratory studies were compared to clinical studies in the areas of hands-on healing and distance healing across the quality criteria for internal validity, distance healing studies scored better than hands-on healing studies, and laboratory studies fared better than clinical studies. Many studies of healing contained major problems that must be addressed in any future research.
    • My analysis: None of the studies reviewed the Spooky2 device or RIFE therapies at all. This study does not apply to Spooky2.
  • “Spooky actions at a distance”: physics, psi, and distant healing

    • My analysis: This is a discussion of opinions on how different distant healing activities might possibly work. It is not a study of the effects of distance healing at all. It is not a scientific study on the effectiveness of anything, including Spooky2.
  • Evidence for correlations between distant intentionality and brain function in recipients: a functional magnetic resonance imaging analysis

    • 11 pairs of “distant intentionality” participants were evaluated using an MRI machine. The “healers” were instructed so send intervention thoughts on 2 minute intervals. There was some measured brain activity correlated with the sending times.
    • My analysis: This studied human to human connections. Not what Spooky2 claims to do. This study does not apply to Spooky2.
  • Distant Healing of Small-Sized Tumors
    • https://doi.org/10.1089/acm.2008.0100
    • Mice were injected with cancerous cells. People applied both hands-on healing and distance healing to the test group and nothing to the control group. Some of the mice in the test group with small tumors experienced remission better than the control group.

    • My analysis: This studied human initiated connections. Not what Spooky2 claims to do. This study does not apply to Spooky2.
