For centuries people have used a coordinate system to identify location on the surface of the earth: Latitude and Longitude. These work. Uber, Lyft, Amazon, Aircraft, Ships, Emergency services, Drones, and thousands of other uses work perfectly with latitude and longitude. According to flat earth the distance between lines of longitude increase the farther you are from the center of the disk. According to the globe the distance is maximum at the equator and decreases as you get farther south. Reaching zero at the south geographic pole.
